Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and materials: socket set, torque wrench, jack stands, and a rubber mallet.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and has cooled down.
2. Raise the Vehicle
  • Use a floor jack to lift the vehicle and secure it on jack stands.
  • Remove the wheels for easier access to the suspension components if necessary.
3. Inspect and Replace Components
  • Shock Absorbers/Struts:
    • Remove the bolts securing the shocks/struts to the vehicle.
    • Disconnect the top mount from inside the engine bay or trunk.
    • Replace with new shocks/struts if worn out.
  • Sway Bar Links:
    • Remove the bolts securing the sway bar links to the sway bar and lower control arm.
    • Replace with new sway bar links if damaged.
  • Bushings:
    • Remove any worn bushings from the suspension components.
    • Install new bushings as per manufacturer specifications.
4. Reassemble and Torque Components
  • Reinstall all components in reverse order, ensuring that all bolts are tightened to the manufacturer's specifications using a torque wrench.
  • Reattach the wheels and lower the vehicle back to the ground.
