Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface with the engine turned off.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shock.
2. Replace Headlight Bulbs
  • Tools Required: Socket set, gloves
  • Remove the headlight assembly cover.
  • Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the headlight bulb.
  • Remove the old bulb by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it out.
  • Insert the new bulb by aligning the tabs and turning it clockwise until secure.
  • Reconnect the wiring harness and replace the headlight assembly cover.
3. Repair Wiring Connections
  • Tools Required: Wire strippers, electrical tape
  • Inspect the wiring harness for any visible damage or corrosion.
  • If damage is found, cut out the damaged section and use wire connectors to splice in new wire.
  • Wrap any exposed connections with electrical tape to prevent short circuits.
4. Check Battery and Alternator
  • Tools Required: Multimeter
  • Reconnect the battery and start the engine.
  • Measure the battery voltage with the multimeter; it should read between 13.7V and 14.7V when the engine is running.
  • If the voltage is below this range, inspect the alternator for issues and consider replacement.
