Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is turned off.
  • Gather the necessary tools:
    • Tire pressure gauge
    • Owner's manual (for reference)
2. Inflate Tires
  • Use a tire pressure gauge to check the pressure of each tire.
  • Inflate all tires, including the spare if applicable, to the manufacturer's recommended PSI (found on the driver’s door jamb sticker).
3. Reset the TPMS
  1. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position without starting the engine, or press the "Start" button twice without pressing the brake pedal on models with a push-button start.
  2. Locate the TPMS reset button, which is usually found under the steering column or inside the glove box.
  3. Press and hold the TPMS reset button until the TPMS indicator light on the dashboard blinks three times, then release the button.
  4. Start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes.
4. Verify Reset
  • After a few minutes, turn off the engine and then restart it. The TPMS light should turn off if the reset is successful.
