Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: small flathead screwdriver, replacement CR2032 battery.
  • Ensure you are in a well-lit workspace.
2. Open the Key Fob
  • Locate the small notch on the edge of the key fob.
  • Insert the flathead screwdriver into the notch and gently pry the two halves of the key fob apart. Be careful not to damage the casing.
3. Remove the Old Battery
  • Once the fob is open, identify the battery compartment.
  • Carefully lift the old CR2032 battery out of its slot using the screwdriver or your fingers, noting the orientation (positive side facing up).
4. Install the New Battery
  • Take the new CR2032 battery and insert it into the compartment, ensuring the positive side is facing up.
  • Press down firmly to secure the battery in place.
