Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Socket set, torque wrench, flathead screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, steering wheel puller (if necessary).
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the ignition is off.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety during repairs.
2. Access the Steering Column
  • Remove the steering column covers by unscrewing the screws using the appropriate screwdriver.
  • Gently pry apart the covers to expose the steering column assembly.

4. Reassemble Steering Column Covers
  • Carefully align the steering column covers back into position.
  • Secure the covers by tightening the screws with the screwdriver.
5. Reconnect Battery and Test
  • Reconnect the battery.
  • Start the vehicle and check the operation of the steering column adjustments.
  • Ensure that the steering wheel is centered and functions properly without excessive play.
