Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: gloves, a flashlight (optional for visibility).
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is completely cool.
2. Locate the Coolant Reservoir
  • Open the hood and secure it with the prop rod.
  • Identify the coolant reservoir; it is usually a translucent plastic tank on the passenger side of the engine bay.
3. Check Coolant Level
  • Visually inspect the coolant level in the reservoir. The level should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" markings on the side of the tank.
  • If the level is below the "MIN" line, proceed to the next step.
4. Add Coolant If Necessary
  • Use a funnel to avoid spills and ensure accurate pouring.
  • Fill the reservoir with a 50/50 mix of Honda Genuine Coolant and distilled water, or another suitable coolant as per the owner's manual.
  • Replace and tighten the cap securely on the coolant reservoir.
5. Inspect for Leaks
  • After adding coolant, visually inspect hoses and connections for any signs of leaks.
  • Look for puddles under the vehicle or wet spots around the engine bay.
