Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the battery to avoid electrical shorts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and securely parked.
2. Clean Throttle Body
  • Tools Needed: Throttle body cleaner, soft cloth, socket set.
  • Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body.
  • Spray throttle body cleaner onto the throttle plate and wipe clean with a soft cloth.
  • Reattach the air intake duct securely.
3. Replace Faulty Throttle Position Sensor (if applicable)
  • Tools Needed: Socket set, screwdriver, torque wrench.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the throttle position sensor.
  • Remove the mounting screws holding the sensor in place.
  • Install the new throttle position sensor and torque the screws to manufacturer specifications.
  • Reconnect the electrical connector.
4. Check and Replace Transmission Fluid (if applicable)
  • Tools Needed: Transmission fluid pump, funnel, socket set.
  • Locate the transmission dipstick and check fluid level.
  • If low, use a transmission fluid pump to add the correct type of transmission fluid.
  • If the fluid is burnt or contaminated, drain the transmission fluid and replace it with fresh fluid, following manufacturer specifications.
5. Reconnect Battery
  • Reconnect the battery terminals and ensure they are tight.
  • Start the engine and allow it to idle for a few minutes to reset any error codes.
