Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure you have a new CR2032 battery ready for replacement.
  • Work in a well-lit area to avoid losing small components.
2. Open the Key Fob
  • Tools Required: Flathead screwdriver or a small coin.
  • Insert the flathead screwdriver or coin into the slot on the side of the key fob.
  • Gently twist to pry apart the two halves of the key fob without damaging the casing.
3. Replace the Battery
  • Remove the old battery from the key fob by noting its orientation (positive side facing up).
  • Insert the new CR2032 battery into the fob, ensuring the positive (+) side is facing up as per the orientation noted.
4. Reassemble the Key Fob
  • Align the two halves of the key fob, making sure that all internal components are correctly positioned.
  • Press the two halves together firmly until they click into place.
