Solution
1. Preparation
  1. Park the vehicle on a flat, level surface and engage the parking brake.
  2. Gather tools and parts required for the repair.
  3. Disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical issues during the repair.
2. Raise the Vehicle
  1. Use a jack to lift the front of the vehicle and secure it on jack stands.
  2. Remove the front wheels using a lug wrench.
3. Remove Worn Tie Rod Ends
  1. Locate the tie rod end connected to the steering knuckle.
  2. Use a wrench to remove the nut securing the tie rod end to the steering knuckle.
  3. Use a tie rod end puller or hammer to separate the tie rod end from the steering knuckle.
  4. Unscrew the tie rod end from the inner tie rod using a wrench.
4. Install New Tie Rod Ends
  1. Apply anti-seize lubricant to the threads of the new tie rod end.
  2. Screw the new tie rod end onto the inner tie rod.
  3. Reattach the tie rod end to the steering knuckle and secure it with the nut.
  4. Torque the nut to the manufacturer’s specifications (typically around 55-70 ft-lbs, but check F-150 specifications).
5. Reassemble and Lower the Vehicle
  1. Reinstall the front wheels and hand-tighten the lug nuts.
  2. Lower the vehicle from the jack stands and finish tightening the lug nuts to the specified torque.
  3. Reconnect the battery.
