Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts needed for the repair.
  • Park the vehicle on a flat surface and engage the parking brake.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety during repairs.
2. Inspect and Replace Power Steering Fluid (if needed)
  1. Locate the power steering reservoir.
  2. Remove the cap and check the fluid level; top off or replace if dirty.
  3. If fluid is low, inspect for leaks in hoses and connections.
3. Replace Worn or Damaged Components

A. Tie Rod Ends

  1. Raise the front of the vehicle and secure it with jack stands.
  2. Remove the wheel on the side making noise.
  3. Detach the tie rod end from the steering knuckle using a ball joint separator.
  4. Replace with a new tie rod end and secure it to the steering knuckle.
  5. Reinstall the wheel and lower the vehicle.

B. CV Joint Replacement (if applicable)

  1. Remove the wheel and axle nut.
  2. Disconnect the lower control arm and any suspension components blocking access.
  3. Slide out the old CV axle and replace it with a new one.
  4. Reassemble all components and ensure proper torque specifications.

C. Wheel Bearing Replacement (if applicable)

  1. Remove the wheel and brake caliper.
  2. Disconnect the hub assembly from the steering knuckle.
  3. Replace the wheel bearing using a bearing puller and press in the new bearing.
  4. Reassemble the hub and brake components.
