  • Replace the cap securely.
3. Inspect and Replace Thermostat
  • Tools Required: Socket set, gasket scraper, new thermostat, torque wrench.
  • Drain coolant from the radiator using the drain valve.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal for safety.
  • Remove the thermostat housing by unscrewing the bolts and carefully pulling it off.
  • Take out the old thermostat and clean the mating surfaces.
  • Install the new thermostat, ensuring the correct orientation.
