Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is on a level surface.
  • Gather necessary tools: clean rag, funnel (if needed), and possibly a jack if accessing the transmission from below.
2. Check Fluid Level
  • For Models with a Dipstick:

    1. Pull out the transmission dipstick.
    2. Wipe it clean with a clean rag.
    3. Reinsert it fully and remove again to check the fluid level. The fluid should be within the marked range on the dipstick.
    4. If low, add the correct type of transmission fluid through the dipstick tube using a funnel.
  • For Models without a Dipstick:

    1. Locate the transmission fluid fill plug, usually on the side of the transmission.
    2. Remove the fill plug using the appropriate socket or wrench.
    3. Insert your finger into the opening; the fluid should be level with the bottom of the fill hole.
    4. If low, add the correct type of transmission fluid until it begins to seep out of the fill hole.
    5. Replace the fill plug securely.
