Solution
1. Preparation

  • Remove the master cylinder reservoir cap.
  • Use a turkey baster to siphon out old brake fluid.
  • Refill with new brake fluid according to Ford specifications (DOT 3 or DOT 4).
3. Repair/Replace Brake Components

A. Replace Brake Lines (if damaged)

  • Locate the damaged brake line.
  • Use a line wrench to disconnect the brake line from the fitting.
  • Measure and cut a new brake line to the appropriate length.
  • Flare the ends of the new brake line and install it.
  • Tighten the fittings securely.

B. Replace Master Cylinder (if faulty)
