Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Raise the Vehicle
  • Use a hydraulic jack to lift the vehicle at the designated lifting points.
  • Secure the vehicle with jack stands for safety.
3. Remove Old Shock Absorbers
  • Tools Required: Socket set, wrench set, torque wrench.
  • Remove the wheel to access the shock assembly.
  • Unbolt the shock absorber from the lower control arm and the upper mount. Make sure to hold the shock in place while removing the last bolt to prevent it from dropping suddenly.
4. Install New Shock Absorbers
  • Tools Required: Torque wrench.
  • Position the new shock absorber in place and secure it by tightening the bolts to the manufacturer's specified torque values.
  • Reattach the wheel and lower the vehicle back to the ground.
5. Final Checks
  • Ensure all bolts are tightened to the correct specifications.
  • Inspect the entire suspension system for any additional issues.
