Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the vehicle battery to ensure safety during the repair.
2. Inspect and Clean Connections
  • Remove the ABS module connectors.
  • Clean any corrosion or dirt from the connectors and wiring using electrical contact cleaner.
  • Reconnect the ABS module connectors securely.
3. Replace Faulty Wheel Speed Sensors (if needed)
  • Jack up the vehicle and remove the wheels for access.
  • Detach the wheel speed sensor from the hub assembly.
  • Install the new wheel speed sensor and ensure it is properly seated.
  • Reinstall the wheel and lower the vehicle.
4. Replace ABS Module (if needed)
  • Remove the ABS module from its mounting bracket.
  • Disconnect any associated wiring harnesses and fluid lines, taking care not to damage them.
  • Install the new ABS module and reconnect all wiring and fluid lines securely.
  • Torque the connections to manufacturer specifications.
5. Bleed the Brake System
  • Using a brake bleeder kit, bleed the brake system to remove any air trapped in the lines.
  • Ensure the brake fluid reservoir is kept filled during the process.
6. Clear Fault Codes
  • Reconnect the battery.
  • Use the OBD-II scanner to clear any stored fault codes in the ABS system.
