1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Torx screwdriver (T20), flathead screwdriver, vacuum cleaner (optional).
  • Turn off the vehicle and ensure the key is removed from the ignition.
  • Open the glove compartment and remove all contents.
2. Accessing the Cabin Air Filter
  • Locate the glove compartment damper on the right side and gently detach it by pressing the sides to release.
  • Using a Torx screwdriver, remove the screws securing the glove compartment to the dashboard.
  • Carefully pull the glove compartment out, allowing access to the cabin air filter housing.
3. Removing the Old Cabin Air Filter
  • Locate the cabin air filter cover and unclip it by pressing the tabs on the sides.
  • Once the cover is removed, carefully pull out the old cabin air filter. Note its orientation for the installation of the new filter.
4. Installing the New Cabin Air Filter
  • Insert the new cabin air filter into the housing, ensuring it is oriented correctly based on the markings (usually arrows indicating airflow direction).
  • Reattach the filter cover by snapping it back into place until it clicks securely.
5. Reassembling the Glove Compartment
