Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts. Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is cool.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical shorts.
2. Inspect and Replace Fuel Filter
  • Tools Required: Socket set, screwdriver, fuel line disconnect tool.
  • Locate the fuel filter (usually near the fuel tank).
  • Use the fuel line disconnect tool to carefully detach the fuel lines from the filter.
  • Remove the mounting bolts and take out the old fuel filter.
  • Install the new fuel filter, ensuring the flow direction is correct, and reattach the fuel lines securely.
3. Replace Spark Plugs and Ignition Coils
  • Tools Required: Spark plug socket, torque wrench.
  • Remove the engine cover to access the ignition coils.
  • Disconnect the electrical connectors from the ignition coils and remove them using the spark plug socket.
  • Replace the old spark plugs with new ones, ensuring they are gapped correctly according to specifications.
  • Install new ignition coils and reconnect the electrical connectors.
4. Clean Throttle Body
  • Tools Required: Throttle body cleaner, soft cloth or brush.
  • Remove the throttle body from the intake manifold (if necessary, refer to specific model instructions).
  • Spray throttle body cleaner onto a soft cloth and wipe the throttle plate and inside of the throttle body to remove carbon deposits.
  • Reinstall the throttle body and reconnect any hoses or electrical connectors.
5. Reconnect Battery
  • Reconnect the negative battery terminal and ensure it is secure.
