Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the parking brake is engaged.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical issues.
2. Inspect and Replace Brake Booster
  1. Remove Engine Cover (if applicable)
    • Use a socket set to remove any bolts securing the engine cover.
  2. Disconnect Vacuum Hose
    • Locate the vacuum hose connected to the brake booster and carefully remove it.
  3. Unbolt Brake Booster
    • Remove the bolts securing the brake booster to the firewall using a wrench.
  4. Remove Master Cylinder
    • Unbolt the master cylinder from the brake booster and carefully pull it away.
  5. Install New Brake Booster
    • Position the new brake booster in place and secure it with bolts to the firewall.
  6. Reattach Master Cylinder
    • Bolt the master cylinder back onto the new brake booster.
