Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts needed for the repair.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface, and the engine is cool.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.
2. Clean Throttle Body
  • Tools Required: Throttle body cleaner, cloth, screwdriver.
  • Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body.
  • Spray throttle body cleaner onto a cloth and wipe the inside of the throttle body to remove carbon deposits.
  • Reattach the air intake duct securely.
3. Replace Spark Plugs and Ignition Coils
  • Tools Required: Socket set, torque wrench, anti-seize compound.
  • Remove the engine cover to access the spark plugs and ignition coils.
  • Disconnect the electrical connectors from the ignition coils.
  • Unscrew and remove the ignition coils. Replace with new coils.
  • Remove the old spark plugs using a socket wrench, apply anti-seize compound to the threads of the new spark plugs, and install them to the manufacturer's specified torque (usually around 20 Nm).
