Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: OBD-II scanner, socket set, fuel pressure gauge, cleaning supplies, and safety gloves.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.
2. Inspect and Replace Spark Plugs
  • Remove the engine cover (if applicable) using a socket set.
  • Disconnect the ignition coils and remove them to access the spark plugs.
  • Use a spark plug socket to remove the old spark plugs.
  • Inspect and replace with new spark plugs according to manufacturer specifications (typically check gap and torque to 23 Nm).
  • Reinstall the ignition coils and engine cover.
3. Clean the Throttle Body
  • Locate the throttle body and remove the intake duct.
  • Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the throttle plate and inside of the throttle body.
  • Ensure no debris falls into the intake manifold.
  • Reattach the intake duct securely.
4. Test and Replace Fuel Filter (if needed)
  • Locate the fuel filter, which may be integrated into the fuel pump assembly.
  • If the fuel pressure gauge indicated low pressure, replace the fuel filter according to service manual specifications.
  • Reconnect the fuel lines and ensure there are no leaks after replacement.
5. Check and Repair Vacuum Lines
  • Visually inspect all vacuum lines for cracks, holes, or disconnections.
  • Replace any damaged vacuum lines with OEM parts.
  • Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
