Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Small flathead screwdriver, replacement battery (CR2032).
  • Ensure you are working in a clean area to avoid losing small parts.
2. Open the Key Fob
  • Insert the small flathead screwdriver into the seam of the key fob.
  • Gently twist the screwdriver to pry open the key fob casing; be careful not to damage the plastic.
  • Separate the two halves of the key fob to reveal the internal components.
3. Remove the Old Battery
  • Locate the battery in the key fob.
  • Note the orientation of the battery (positive side up).
  • Carefully remove the old battery by pushing it out with your finger or the screwdriver.
4. Install the New Battery
  • Take the new CR2032 battery and insert it in the same orientation as the old battery (positive side facing up).
  • Ensure the battery is seated properly in its compartment.
5. Reassemble the Key Fob
  • Align the two halves of the key fob.
  • Press them together until you hear a click, ensuring they are securely closed.
  • Test the key fob buttons to confirm functionality before use.
