Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Lint-free cloth or paper towel
  • Ensure the car is parked on a level surface and the engine is off for accurate reading.
2. Check Oil Level
  • Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean as previously described.
  • Reinsert the dipstick completely back into the tube.
  • Pull it out again and examine the oil level on the dipstick.
    • The oil level should be between the minimum and maximum marks.
    • If the oil level is below the minimum mark, it needs to be topped up.
3. Top Up Oil (if necessary)
  • Tools Required: Funnel, clean oil (appropriate grade as per manufacturer specifications)
  • Remove the oil filler cap (located on the engine cover).
  • Using a funnel, pour the recommended oil into the engine gradually.
  • Recheck the oil level with the dipstick after adding oil to ensure it is within the correct range.
  • Replace the oil filler cap securely.
